How to request deletion of personal data or customer data from Refix or Refix Analytics.
Last updated September 12, 2026
Requesting deletion
You can request deletion of personal data or customer data associated with Refix or Refix Analytics by emailing hey@refix.ai with the subject Data Deletion Request.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your account or organization and include:
- the product involved: Refix or Refix Analytics
- your name and account email address
- your organization or Slack workspace name, if applicable
- for Refix Analytics, the website domain involved
- for a connected integration, the name of the integration and relevant workspace, account, or project identifier
- whether you want specific data deleted or the entire account or workspace deleted
Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, API keys, payment-card details, or other credentials.
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and authority. Workspace-wide or organization-wide deletion requests must come from an owner, administrator, or other authorized representative.
What we can delete
Depending on your request and the product you use, deletion may include:
Refix
- account and profile information
- Slack workspace and user metadata held by Refix
- Google sign-in identifiers associated with your account
- prompts, conversations, query history, generated answers, charts, and exported files
- scheduled watchers and their results
- saved organizational context and memories
- connected-service configuration, OAuth tokens, API credentials, and selected account metadata
- retrieved query results and generated insights
- indexed documents, extracted text, metadata, and chunks from connected knowledge sources
- Google Drive files we stored from a connected Drive integration
- Google Analytics query results and property metadata we stored
- Google BigQuery query results we stored
Refix Analytics
- your Refix Analytics account and site configuration
- tracked sessions, page views, clicks, event labels, and scroll events associated with your sites
- browser identifiers and associated device or location attributes
- other analytics data associated with the account or domain covered by the request
Deleting an account or workspace may permanently remove access to its dashboards, reports, history, and generated output.
Disconnecting a connected service
You can stop future access to a connected service before deletion is completed:
- Disconnect the service from Refix’s Integrations settings, where available.
- Revoke Refix’s access from the connected service’s own security or application settings.
- Submit a deletion request using the instructions above if you also want data already stored by Refix deleted.
Revoking or disconnecting an integration stops future access but does not by itself delete data previously retrieved or generated by Refix.
For Google integrations and Google sign-in, you can revoke access through Google Account permissions.
For Meta integrations, remove Refix from your Facebook or Meta business integrations and email us with the Refix workspace and ad-account identifiers involved. You do not need to delete your Facebook or Instagram account to request deletion from Refix.
Requests from website visitors or workspace members
If Refix processed your information on behalf of one of our customers, for example through a customer’s website using Refix Analytics or through your employer’s Refix workspace, the customer generally controls that data.
Please contact the website owner or your workspace administrator first. They can identify the relevant account and submit an authorized request to us. You may also email hey@refix.ai, and we will help route or verify the request where possible.
Timing and confirmation
We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete verified requests within 30 days. Complex requests may take longer where permitted by law. If so, we will explain the reason and provide an updated timeline.
After completing a request, we will send confirmation to the verified requester’s email address. If a platform submits a deletion request to us on your behalf, we may provide a confirmation code or status URL where required.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to:
- comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- maintain disaster-recovery backups until they are overwritten through the normal backup cycle
Where possible, retained data will be restricted from ordinary use. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you may also be retained.
For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
